FORMER COLTON MAN DIES IN OGDEN
Joseph O. Turley Passes Away at Home of His Daughter at Ripe Age

Colton people will hear with deep regret of the death this morning at Ogden, Utah, of Joseph Turley, formerly a resident of this city.

Mr. Turley was about 73 years of age. He went to Ogden some months ago on account of failing health, with the idea that the change might be of benefit. Some twelve years ago he moved from Colton to Los Angeles, where some of his children lived. While here he made friends of all who knew him because of his innate kindness of heart and cheerfulness, coupled with the qualities that make a valuable citizen. He was loyal to his friends as well as having a most generous and progressive spirit that made him highly esteemed for his personal worth.

Deceased leaves a wife and five children. The latter are Mrs. Mamie Bond, Mrs. Ruth Heber and Mrs. T. A. White of Los Angeles; Mrs. C. R. Creel of Colton and Lester Turley, whose home is in Los Angeles.
